Would you like to have a glass of something smooth, beautiful, that will definitely keep you going with no problems? Meet your new summer favorite: Beetroot and Watermelon Smoothie! This vibrant blend mixes the earthy sweetness of beetroot with the refreshing juiciness of watermelon.
Refreshing as it is nourishing, perfect for this time of year. It is both visually appealing and an embodiment of a store of antioxidants, vitamins, and natural hydration. Perfect for sunny days or just that spur-of-the-moment pick-me-up, this smoothie is a bit of a treat for one’s body and taste buds alike.

Beetroot and Watermelon

Ingredients:

  • 1 small beetroot, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups watermelon, cubed and de seeded
  • Juice of half a lime or lemon (optional)
  • A handful of ice cubes (optional)
  • 3-4 ice cups

After a few trials and tweaks, I finally nailed the perfect recipe for my Refreshing Beetroot and Watermelon Smoothie! 🌱🍉 This drink is a beautiful mix of earthy beetroot and juicy watermelon, with a hint of citrus zing that brings the flavors together in a vibrant, summery burst. It’s as satisfying to look at as it is to drink! 🎨✨

For an added health boost, I used coconut water instead of regular water. It adds a tropical vibe and extra hydration, which is perfect for hot days or post-workout refreshment!

Let’s talk nutrition! This beetroot-watermelon combo comes in at around 90 calories and just 17 grams of natural sugars per 16-ounce serving. The watermelon is the main source of the sweetness here, and the beetroot adds fiber and antioxidants without many extra calories. If you prefer it a little lighter, you can skip the ice or use half a beet for a milder flavor.

Best of all, this vibrant drink costs under $1.50 per serving—far cheaper than the $6 you might spend on a store-bought version. Sip, savor, and enjoy this homemade super drink! 🍹💖

Instructions:

Add all the ingredients to your smoothie cup or blender in the order listed. Blend for about 2 minute, or until you achieve a smooth consistency. This recipe yields a 15-16 oz serving.
