- 1 ½ cups (180g) Semolina
- 1 cup (200g) Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- ½ cup (120ml) Olive oil
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- ½ cup (120ml) Milk
- ¼ cup (60ml) Orange juice
- ½ cup (120g) Sugar (for syrup)
- ½ cup (120ml) Water
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
Beat eggs with sugar, add olive oil, semolina, baking powder, milk, and orange juice. Mix well.
Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake for 40 minutes or until golden.
Prepare the syrup by boiling water and sugar for 10 minutes. Let cool.
Pour the syrup over the hot cake and let soak.
