Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces White chocolate
  • 8 ounces Semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable or coconut oil
  • 4-5 Candy canes

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Layers:
    Melt 8 ounces of white chocolate with 1 tbsp of oil in the microwave or a double boiler. Once melted, stir in 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract, then pour into a prepared baking pan and spread into an even layer. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
    Repeat the process for 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate, adding 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract, and pour over the white chocolate layer. Refrigerate for another 10-15 minutes.

  • Add the Final Layer:
    Melt the remaining 8 ounces of white chocolate with 1 tbsp of oil and pour over the semi-sweet chocolate layer. Spread evenly and chill in the refrigerator until fully set, approximately 1 hour.

  • Top and Break:
    Crush 4-5 candy canes and sprinkle them over the top layer of chocolate. Once the bark is fully set, break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

When making peppermint bark, ensure the chocolate layers are melted slowly to avoid burning. Refrigerate each layer individually to maintain a smooth texture and prevent separation. For a more intense peppermint flavor, increase the peppermint extract, but avoid overpowering the chocolate’s richness.
