Ingredients

  • 3 medium Ripe Bananas
  • 1 ½ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Leavening Agent

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • Mash the Bananas Peel the ripe bananas and place them in a large bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the bananas until smooth, with only a few lumps remaining. You’ll need about 1 1/2 to 2 cups of mashed banana.
  • Mix the Dry Ingredients In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda (or baking powder). This ensures the leavening agent is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients Add the mashed bananas to the dry ingredients and gently fold them together using a spatula. Stir just until combined, avoid overmixing to keep the bread light and fluffy.
  • Pour the Batter into the Pan Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The top should be golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • Cool and Serve Let the banana bread cool in the pan for approximately 10 minutes, then move it to a wire rack to cool fully before slicing. Enjoy your simple, delicious 3-Ingredient Banana Bread!

Notes

Use Overripe Bananas: The more overripe the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bread will turn out.. Overripe bananas with brown spots are ideal for achieving a moist and naturally sweet loaf.
Don’t Overmix the Batter: Mix the ingredients just until combined to avoid dense banana bread. Overmixing can activate the gluten in the flour, resulting in a tough texture.
